Meet the Team

  • Laura Lima ANCP-BC

Laura Lima, MSN, APRN, ACNP-BC, GNP-C, RNFA | Founder & Owner, Plymouth IV Lounge

Laura brings over two decades of advanced clinical expertise to every service offered at Plymouth IV Lounge. She is dual board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a subspecialty in Cardiology — a distinction held by a select few practitioners in the wellness and medical aesthetics space. Her academic foundation is equally distinguished: a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Anselm College (2003) and a Master of Science in Nursing, conferred with honors, from the University of Massachusetts Medical School (2012).

Laura's career trajectory is what truly sets Plymouth IV Lounge apart. She began her healthcare journey as a certified nursing assistant — learning the fundamentals of compassionate, hands-on care from the ground up — before advancing through roles as a bedside nurse, clinical preceptor, and cardiac unit leader. She later practiced as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Nurse Practitioner before developing deep expertise in Vascular Surgery, where she specialized in the diagnosis and management of complex arterial and venous disease, medically complex patient populations, and advanced wound care. This breadth of critical care and vascular experience informs every clinical decision made at Plymouth IV Lounge, from IV therapy formulations to patient safety screening protocols.

Laura's expansion into wellness and medical aesthetics was a deliberate, values-driven evolution — not a pivot. She pursued formal certification in these disciplines because she believes that true whole-person care must address both internal health optimization and external confidence. Her integrative philosophy bridges the gap between functional medicine, clinical science, and medical aesthetic wellness in a way that few providers are genuinely qualified to offer.

Safety is never an afterthought at Plymouth IV Lounge. Every protocol is built to hospital-grade standards, every client undergoes thorough clinical screening, and every service is administered under the direct oversight of a provider whose credentials extend well beyond the wellness industry norm. When you choose Plymouth IV Lounge, you are choosing a practice where your care is guided by the same clinical precision and accountability that Laura has applied in cardiac units, surgical suites, and critical care environments throughout her career.

  • Sara Souza RN

    Sara, BSN, RN

Sara is a devoted wife, mom, and self-proclaimed lover of shoes, wine, and all things fabulous. In addition to keeping up with her busy household, she brings over 16 years of experience in IV therapy to the Plymouth IV Lounge team.

Sara earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Simmons College in Boston alongside Lauren. Her clinical background is rooted primarily in oncology, with additional experience caring for patients with multiple sclerosis, gastroenterology, and hematologic conditions. Prior to joining Plymouth IV Lounge, she worked as an IV Therapy RN in several hospital systems and outpatient care clinics, where she refined her expertise in infusion-based treatments.

Recently, Sara discovered a passion for vitamin infusion therapy and is excited to be part of this evolving and innovative area of healthcare. She is committed to helping clients feel energized, restored, and supported in their overall wellness journey.

When she’s not at work, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband, their two sweet (and wonderfully wild) little boys, and their bulldog, affectionately known as Mr. Donnie Donuts. As a family, they love beach days, being outdoors, and cozy snuggles with their pup.

Sara is honored to be part of such a dynamic team and looks forward to helping every client feel their very best.
