Owner

Laura Lima is the founder and owner of Plymouth IV Lounge. Laura is a board certified Adult Acute Care and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner with a subspecialty in Cardiology. She has worked in the healthcare industry for over 2 decades, beginning her career as a certified nursing assistant at a local nursing home. She went on to receive her BSN from St. Anselm College of Nursing in 2003.

After working as a bedside nurse, leader, and preceptor on a Cardiac Unit, she earned her Masters degree with honors from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 2012. She worked as a Pulmonary/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner until she found her passion in Vascular Surgery. She has a vast knowledge of arterial and venous disease, as well as management of medically complex patients and wounds. Laura went on to obtain her certifcation in aesthetic services and believes in a holistic approach, helping client’s feel good on the inside and out.

Laura is the recipient of a local Community Award for precepting Nurse Practitioner students. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Med Spa Association, the New England Society of Vascular Surgery, and the American Geriatric Society.

Registered Nurse

Lauren is a Mattapoisett native currently residing in New Bedford with her husband and two children. She received her BSN from Simmons College in 2008. She has been a bedside nurse for 16 years specializing in cardiac critical care, with particular expertise in acute heart failure and ventricular support devices. Her interest in wellness started after the birth of her two children and grew after working through the pandemic. In her spare time she enjoys solo shopping trips with a coffee, the chaos of her big family, a good mixed drink and trying to keep her flowers alive.

Registered Nurse

Sara is a mommy, wife and lover of shoes, wine and all things fabulous. Aside from being a busy mom, Sara is a registered nurse with more than 16 years of IV therapy experience. Sara obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing from Simmons College in Boston along side Lauren. She has experience primarily in the oncology field but also with multiple sclerosis, gastroenterology, and hematology patients.

Prior to joining the Plymouth IV Lounge team, Sara worked as an IV therapist RN at several hospitals and outpatient care clinics. Sara has recently found a new passion for vitamin infusion care and is excited to continue this exciting journey within this up and coming health care field.

When not at work, Sara can be found spending time with her husband, two crazy sweet little boys and bulldog, otherwise known as Mr. Donnie Donuts. She and her family love spending time at the beach, being outdoors and snuggling with their pup. Sara is honored to be a part of this fun team and looks forward to helping people achieve a better feeling of overall wellness.
